NDY Group is the exclusive distributor of Rakura Tea in Australia — a premium Himalayan organic tea grown at altitude and crafted using traditional methods, bringing the character of high-altitude tea gardens to Australian retailers, cafés and foodservice businesses.
Rakura was founded by tea pioneer Ram Kumar Rathi, whose family has worked in Himalayan tea since 1973. In 1993, Rakura established Nepal's first private orthodox tea factory in the village of Maloom, Ilam, and has since been recognised with the Government of Nepal's Award for Finest Food Safety and Quality Management.
